GDC Technology (“GDC”) is an innovator in digital cinema technologies, offering cutting-edge solutions for digital post-production, delivery and exhibitions of movies, onscreen advertisement and alternative content.Founded in 2000, GDC is the first company worldwide to provide software-based (non-chipset based) DC solutions that allows new digital cinema and signage requirements to be easily added to its systems. Since then, GDC has established a reputation for our reliable and adaptable product line.

Apart from conducting over 5 satellite/cable delivery trials, GDC has successfully delivered more than 2500 servers worldwide and 2.5 million perfect screenings of over 400 full-length features.

GDC Technology is a subsidiary of Global Digital Creations HoldingsLimited, a listed company in Hong Kong. GDC’s shareholders include Global Digital Creations Holdings Limited and Mr Li Ka-Shing (the world’s 11th wealthiest person according to Forbes 2008).

• Graduating from the University of Strathclyde in United Kingdom with a bachelor’s degree in engineering (1st class honors) and Ph.D. degree in electronic and electrical engineering (1988, 1992)
